The weekend of Friday 9th till Sunday 11 September is dedicated to the Open Monuments day. Arnhem is one of the participating cities and spread over the weekend a wide variety of monuments and buildings open to the public. One of those buildings is the St.-Peters hospital at Rijnstraat 71. In this former residence, chapel and hospital is an exhibition about the elderly care through the ages in the Netherland and around Arnhem. In addition to this, as part of the Open Monuments Day, there is an exhibition about Women of Arnhem.
In 2014 Studio Kees Marcelis had the privilege to design the remodelling of this building, one of the oldest building in the city of Arnhem. On Saturday, September 10th, between 12.00 and 16.00 pm, you are welcome to visit this beautiful building and of course our design.
