As the owner of this villa had received a conservatory as a gift, we were asked to devise a plan for this. We had previously renovated the kitchen several years ago.
Strikingly, this villa was in a beautiful ‘location with a view’ but the view was being underutilised. It was no easy house to convert. After some deep thought and sketch work, a complete glass facade with a large roof materialised instead of a conservatory. This had consequences for the fireplace, however, and ultimately led to the complete redesign of the ground floor (excluding the kitchen). The client had the courage to go abroad during the conversion. When she returned, the conversion had been completed and the property was fully equipped.
